Acting & Theatre Creation Camp!

Mon. – Friday, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Camp 1: July 21 - 25
Camp 2: July 28 – Aug. 1
Young creators and performers enrolled in this fun and engaging camp will use their imagination while learning all about acting and play making through theatre games, improvisation, storytelling, character creation and more. In this workshop, participants will engage in fun and exciting games, while learning core acting and theatre skills. All students of any experience level are welcome! All Star Players Summer Theatre Camp

Working with an original short play, The Culling, written by playwright and teacher Brenda Fager, teen actors (and those interested in the technical side of theatre) will discover the importance of SETTING – where the story takes place – while also learning the basics of acting: character (WHO you are on stage), blocking (WHERE you are on stage), and motivation (WHY you are on stage). Using acting exercises and theatre games, cleverly disguised to grow their acting skills, they’ll have the opportunity for a short performance by the end of the week. At Tunkhannock’s Riverside Park

Theatre & Visual Arts Camp

Galactic Odyssey! A Space Adventure Camp
A long time ago, to a galaxy far, far away…is where this camp will go! This camp is all about anything and everything that has to do with space and the adventures we will find there. Learn all about stars, aliens, galaxies, black holes and more, all while becoming your very own space character! Each camper will create their own cosmic character in an original play and they will make the costumes, props, and intergalactic artwork for the production. Perhaps we will see an amazing space princess warrior, a talking planet or maybe even an extraterrestrial bad guy! The original play will be presented at the end of camp that will take the audience out of this world!

Theatre & Visual Arts Camp

Imagination Station! Where Dreams Come to Life
What kind of imaginary world would you create if you could? Who is your imaginary friend? Who would you be if you could be anyone? What stories live inside your head that you just need to get out into the world? In this camp we will explore all things imaginary, transformative, wonderous and creative from the monster under the bed to alternate realities, incredible stories, heroes, villains and more! Come with us on this journey exploring all the things our imaginations can create and how those marvels can change us every day and in wonderful ways. Campers will make costumes, props, puppets, and more and create an original play all about the most wondrous and transformative world they can imagine. Intermediate Stained Glass - Jewelry Box

Wed., Aug. 13 from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
This 3-D glass project is a first step into working with glass other than a flat pattern. Students will create a small jewelry box, with some choice of glass color and adornments. Students taking this class must have prior stained glass experience - must know how to cut, grind, foil and solder! Basics will not be taught in this class. Have some fun! Mat and Chair Integrated Kundalini Yoga
